Description

Short Title: Crow v Pritchard.

Plaintiff(s): Richard Crow, gent.

Defendant(s): Thomas Pritchard and his wife Mary, Charlotte Powell (an infant), William Bird, Thomas Ireland and his wife Rebecca, Thomas Jones and his wife Sarah, Lucretia Curle, William Williams, James Lloyd Harris.

Depositions for: Plaintiff.

Subject of Depositions: The last will and testament of Mansell Powell esq of the parish of Moreton-upon-Lugg [Moreton on Lugg] (a copy of which is subjoined dated 26 May 1775); also touching the last will and testament of Roger Powell esq, aforementioned of the parish of Moreton-upon-Lugg [Moreton on Lugg] (a copy of which is subjoined dated 15 Sept 1777); touching the freehold and copyhold estates of the plaintiff lying in named parishes in Herefordshire which were entered upon and taken possession of by said Mansell Powell by virtue of a contract between him and the plaintiff Richard Crow for the purchase of the copyhold estate and for a lease of the freehold estate to be granted by plaintiff to Mansell Powell; which estates continued in the possession of Mansell Powell and at his death were taken possession of and entered upon by his nephew Roger Powell; survey or valuation of said estates; grubbing up and destruction of boundary marks, etc.
