Description

Short Title: Mawbey v Edmead.

Plaintiff(s): Sir Joseph Mawbey, bart.

Defendant(s): Richard Edmead, Henry Isaac Franks esq, Nathan Franks esq, Moses Franks esq and his wife Phila, Charles Merrest, clerk, Jacob Franks esq and his wife Priscilla, Anthony Chapman esq, The Right Revd Brownlow, Lord Bishop of Manchester.

Depositions for: Plaintiff and Defendants.

Subject of Depositions: The rectory impropriate, vicarage and parish of Chertsey alias Cartsey, the townships of Crotford and Wodenham, defendant Edmead's farms called "Simple Marsh Farm", "Rodwells" and "Barnetts", and the manors of Walton-upon-Thames [Walton-on-Thames] and Purford [Pyrford]; metes and bounds; tithes.
