Description

Short Title: City of Bristol v Cruger.

Plaintiff(s): The Mayor, Burgesses, and Commonalty of the City of Bristol.

Defendant(s): Henry Cruger esq, John Mallard, merchant.

Depositions for: Plaintiffs and Defendants.

Subject of Depositions: The Port and City of Bristol; touching the value etc of the tolls or duties called the Town Dues or Town Duties and in the pleadings of this cause called the City Dues payable in the Port of Bristol; discussing the effect on trade of the previous disputes with America.

County: Bristol.
