Short Title: Goodwin v Crowle.

Subject of Depositions: A contract or agreement entered into by the plaintiff with William Crowle, late of Fryston Hall, Yorkshire, "for the sinking of a circular pit [for the purpose of finding and getting coals] to the depth of one hundred and five yards in a close belonging to the said William Crowle at Ferry Fryston aforesaid from the top of the pitt gear as it then stood, which said pitt was to be ten feet diameter", etc.
