Description

Short Title: Davies v Bigland.

Plaintiff(s): Gabriel Davies and Dinah Bayley, on behalf of themselves and all other creditors of Miles Oatridge, deceased.

Defendant(s): Richard Bigland, Thomas Oatridge, Sarah Oatridge, widow, John Oatridge (an infant), Richard Rogers, Samuel Rogers, Daniel Oatridge, Samuel Phillimore, William Weel, Thomas Hall, William Lane, John William Jepson (an infant), Miles Oatridge the elder, Samuel Ingold and his wife Elizabeth Ingold, Simon Savage, Sarah Savage (an infant), Richard Cork, Anne Savage, Mary Cork, James Budding and his wife Elizabeth Budding (formerly Elizabeth Cork), and Nathanial Underwood.

Depositions for: Plaintiffs and Defendants.

Subject of Depositions: The debts etc of Miles Oatridge the younger, formerly of Cowley and late of Hucclecott [Hucclecote], cheese factor, also touching his latest will and testament (a copy of which is subjoined dated 24 Feb 1770) in which the following are mentioned: his wife Sarah Oatridge, his son John Oatridge, purchases made by William Helbrow of Dursley in trust for lands in Cowley, Cam, and Slimbridge, Gloucestershire, formerly the estate of John Essington, esq, testator's father Miles Oatridge, his sister Elizabeth Rossiere, his nephew Richard Cork, his nephews and nieces Elizabeth Ingold, Anne Savage, Sarah Savage, Elizabeth Savage, Mary Cork, Elizabeth Cork, Richard Bigland of Frocester, esq, and Thomas Oatbridge of Tetbury, wool stapler, trustees, etc.

County: Gloucestershire.
