Description

Short Title: Hawkins v Channon.

Plaintiff(s): William Hawkins, clerk.

Defendant(s): Daniel Channon.

Depositions for: Defendant.

Subject of Depositions: The vicarage and parish of Whitechurch Canonicorum and the parishes or chapelries of Marshwood, Chideock, and Stanton St Gabriel, and "a lease from Robert Henley esq to the defendant by the name of Daniel Channing of Abbotts Wootton, blacksmith, of a farm called Stoneburrough Farm in the parish of Stanton St Gabriel, for 99 years determinable on the deaths of said defendant and of William Channing and Daniel Channing his sons"; "Is or is not a lessee for ninety nine years determinable upon lives and owner of lands within the custom of said parish and chapelries touching owners of lands paying sixpence a cow for milk and calves?"; tithes.
