- 1794 June-1795 Feb: 96th, or Lt Col Murray's (or the Queen's Royal Irish) Regiment of Foot.
- 1803 Feb-1812 Dec: 96th Regiment of Foot; colonels: the Hon George James Ludlow (to 1805), and George Don; includes returns (for two battalions) from South Wales, Gloucester, Antigua, Hungerford, Santa Croix, Bexhill, Spithead, and Jersey.
