- 1794 Jan-1812 Dec: 81st Regiment of Foot (initially in 1794, 81st or Loyal Lincolnshire Regiment of Volunteers); colonels: Albemarle Bertie; Winter Blathwayte; Chapple Norton; Gordon Forbes; Sir Hew Whiteford Dalrymple; John Graves Simcoe; and (from 1798) Sir Henry Johnson; includes returns (for two battalions, from 1803) from barracks in England, at sea, and from Guernsey, Jersey, and Europe.
