  • 1759 July to 1762 Feb: 72nd Regiment of Foot; colonel: Charles (Lennox), 3rd Duke of Richmond.
  • 1797 Dec to 1798 Aug: 72nd Regiment of Foot; colonel: Sir Adam Williamson; includes returns from on board the Sir Stephen Lushington Indiaman, at sea August 1798.
  • 1805 Feb to Dec: 72nd Regiment of Foot (Highland); Charles Robertson, W B Nicolls, John Vicary and James Stewart.
  • 1805 Sept to 1812 Dec: 72nd Regiment of Foot (Highland); colonel: James Stuart; at Cape of Good Hope (1806-1809) and Mauritius (1811-1812).
