Robert Knollys, one of the squires attending the queen, v. Richard Broughton and John Stedman. Pastures called Uttoxater Moores and Morehead granted by the queen to Walter, earl of Essex, and by him assigned to the defendants. Whether this assignment wasupon any trust for the benefit of the said earl? An assignment of the premises by Robert, earl of Essex, to Sir Christopher Blount, late attainted of treason, and a mortgage thereof to Henry, earl of Huntingdon, Thomas Skinner, alderman, and John Lacy, which mortgage was redeemed to the use of the said Robert, earl of Essex, by William Harman, to whom Lacy was indebted for lands he had bought from him in Oxfordshire. Staffs & Oxon.
