Thomas Strickland v. Thomas Seymour, Patrick White and others. Money due by John Seymour, late of Frampton Cotterill, to the plaintiff, being the dowry promised upon the marriage of the latter with Elizabeth, daughter of John Seymour. Assignment to the plaintiff of the demesne lands of Northstock, amongst other things, as security for the payment thereof. Refusal of Thomas Seymour, to whom the lease of the manor of Northstock, held from the queen, had been bequeathed by the said John Seymour, his father, to pay the said dowry. His dispute with Patrick White concerning a lease of the said manor, obtained by the latter from the queen. Mentioning the manor of Frampton Cotterill, as also having been bequethed to the said Thomas Seymour. Glos.
