The validity of a deed made 12 Aug. 1580, between Thomas Morgan of Arkeston and Charles, his son and heir apparent, whereby the said Thomas, in consideration of the affection he bore the said Charles, and that his possessions in Herefordshire might be, continue, and remain in the blood of the Morgans, covenanted that he the said Thomas, and all and every other person and persons, seised or to be seised of the manors of Kilpecke, Arkeston, Hungeston, and Manfeilde, and all other his lands in Herefordshire, should stand and be seised thereof, to the use of himself during his life, without impeachment of waste, and after his decease, to the use of the said Charles, and of his heirs male, with divers remainders over.
