William Symondes, Lionel Crofte, William Dison alias Cogbill, Simon Ryley, William Walker and Thomas Baldwyn, tenants of the queen's manor of Brayles [Brailes], v Ralph Sheldon, farmer of the said manor. Excessive fines charged by the defendant upon the customarytenants of the manor of Brayles [Brailes]. Whether their tenements are estates of inheritance or estates for lives? Right of the defendant to keep rabbit warrens upon the common fields of the manor or elsewhere but on the site and several grounds thereof. Enclosures by him of lands and commons in Over Brayles [Over Brailes] and Nether Brayles [Nether Brailes], and in his lordship of Chemscott [Chelmscote]. Referring to a verdict for the defendant, in an action at common law, brought by him against some of the tenants of Brayles [Brailes], concerning a rabbit warren there. Warw.
