The queen v. Richard Blacke, Thomas Smythe and Thomas Wigmore. Three acres of marshland, lying in a close called Strongwere, belonging to the dean and chapter of Christchurch, Canterbury. Two acres thereof, belonging to the queen's manor of Warehorne, were viewed and separated from the said close by Richard Toke, when he was farmer and steward of the said manor to the late duchess of Somerset, who held it for her life; and the remaining acre was purchased by him from Sir Thomas Stuppenye, and afterwards sold to the said dean and chapter. Survey of the said manor; mentioning that it had been formerly separate from the manor of Wilcoxe. Other marshland in the said manor in the occupation of one Strughill. Kent.
