A bond entered into by William Adams, alleged to be a highwayman, to Edward Gateward, then keeper of the gaol in Southwark called the White Lion, and by him assigned to the queen for the debt of Walter Agard, and sued in the Exchequer against the said Adams. Surrey & Carm.
