A bill exhibited to the council in the marches of Wales, in the name of the tenants of the manor of Bredon, against Thomas Copley, George Horneold, Thomas Handford, Richard May, sen, and Richard Dawkes, concerning the right to hold courts for the said manor, which right was claimed by the said Copley, Horneold and Handford, as lords of the manor, and by the said Dawkes as assignee of the said May, to whom a lease of the manor had been granted by the queen. Whether the manor of Wick was conveyed to him at the same time? Subsequent lease by the queen to May of certain particular lands and tenements in Bredon, and of the freeholders' services there.
