George Bowes v. Roger Mennell, Robert Danbye, Jane Danbye, widow, and others. Lands and tenements in South Cowton, Atley Cowton, and Multon, parcel of the possessions of the hospital of St John of Jerusalem, sold by Christopher Rookesby to Sir George Bowes, father of the plaintiff. Referring to leases of lands in the same towns, bearing dates 2 Oct 1519 and 3 Mar 1520, and made by the prior of the said hospital to Roger Lasselles and William Bullmer. Yorks.
