He does not know the extent of the boundaries of Bonsall parish but knows Derwent not to be in it; Rowland Bestowe of Wensley, yeoman, aged around 48; Thomas Marple of Bonsall, yeoman, aged around 58, whose memory of Bonsall goes back 40 years [to 1595]; Anthony Simpson of Matlock, yeoman, aged around 43.
