Description

Short title: Rowlinson v Barnes.

Plaintiffs: Robert Rowlinson.

Defendants: Thomas Barnes and Ralph Barnes.

Documents: depositions concerning land transactions and enclosures in Bowden and Hayfield, Derbyshire.

Deponents for plaintiffs: Raphe Fearnley of Lanehead, yeoman, aged 48, [confused about what was copyhold and what was freehold in Bowden and Hayfield]; Nicholas Browne of Marsh, esquire, aged 49, identifies handwriting in a conveyance document presented at court as that of Robert Eyre; George Bowden senior of Bowden, esquire, aged 74; William Barber of Thornsett Fields, yeoman, aged 40; Anthony Shore of Chapel-en-le-Frith, husbandman, aged 60; Edward Downes of Kinder, yeoman, aged 60.
