Plaintiffs: Attorney General of the Duchy of Lancaster.
Defendants: Wigley.
Documents: examinations concerning the highway from Ashbourne to Bakewell, Wirksworth, Derbyshire.
Taken 11 Eliz.
Deponents for defendants: John Wigley of Wirksworth, yeoman, aged around 40 years, deposed that the highway from Ashbourne to Bakewell did not run through Martin Ash Green. He has enclosed this area with a stone wall. His late father, Henry, used to be bailiff of the wapentake and never received profits for fairs from the green.
