Deponents for plaintiffs: Edward Dakins of Fairfield, yeoman, aged 73, deposed that Greyne was accused of having broken down walls and illegally occupying lands in Fairfield; Humphrey Dakin of Chelmorton, yeoman, aged 55; John Wryght of Tunstead, yeoman, aged 55.
Deponents for defendants: Rememberance by commissioners that the defendant came to them and showed them a deed of John Ferne of Wirksworth, heir to William Ferne of Fairfield, of 21 Henry VII [c.1507] which supported his claim.
