Counties: Berks, Glos, Heref, Oxon, Salop, Staffs, Worcs Justices, Gaols, Nature: Robert Cherleton and Robert Hill; Gloucester castle; Hereford castle and city; Oxford castle (cos. Berkshire and Oxford prisoners); SHrewsbury castle; Stafford; Worcester castle and city; Roll.

mm or rots: 63 In roll 180 there are the following gaol deliveries by one of the senior gaol delivery justices and one or more of their colleagues in commissions of the peace for the respective counties:- at ms. 2, 8 and 15, deliveries of Oxford castle on 18 February 1390, 27 April 1394 and 15 February 1398, at ms. 16d 30d, 34 (bis), 36d, 38 (bis) and 38d, deliveries of Hereford castle on 28 February 1390, 27 July 1392, 25 February 1393, March 1397, 28 February 1398, 27 July 1398 and 1 March 1399; at ms. 51, 52 and 53d, deliveries of Shrewsbury castle on 24 July 1392, 27 July 1394 and 28 February 1397; at ms. 54, 59 and 59d, deliveries of Stafford on 23 February 1390, 22 July 1392, and 20 February 1393. At m. 12 is a delivery by Charlton and John Rede of Oxford castle gaol on 19 February 1395 under a special commission dated 5 February 1395 (C.P.R. 1391-6, 588) concerning all felonies and treasons committed in co. Oxford by prisoners in the gaol there, under which a number of persons were tried for forgery and burgling the gaol.
