County: London, Middx, Divers Counties, Essex. Justices, Gaols, Nature: John de Bousser; Newgate; Rayleigh, co. Essex, 19 Edw. III (1326) only; File.

Note
mm or rots: 60 These rolls and files include special deliveries. Since approvers were sent to Newgate from many counties, the rolls also include business from most English counties, especially from southern counties near London. The names of the London wards and Middlesex hundreds are usually marginated in Just. Itin. 3/43/1 to 3 and 44. The enrolments of 43/2 are in both Just. Itin. 3/43/1 and 3.
