Metropolitan Patriarchal Church: Seville v. Trustees of the British Museum. Mr.Basilia Garcia of Seville sent some books to the British Museum which he had purchased in Cadiz. Among them was a Missal which the Chapter of the Church alleged was stolen from its Library. An injunction was served on the Trustees restraining them from parting with the book except to the Plaintiffs or their attorney. In correspondence, Mr.Garcia refutes the charge, but has no objection to the Patriarchal Church having it, subject to their paying him what the original dealer had demanded for it.
