Defeasance by Nicholas Hare, esquire, (1) of a bond of 500l. given by Henry Vernon of Stokeseye and Francis Curson, esquires, and John heir apparent of the latter, to John, brother of the said Nicholas, for payment to the said Nicholas and Hugh his brother of a rent charge of 50l. during the life of Lucy wife of the said John Hare; (2) of a statute of 500l. given by the same persons to Ralph brother of the said Nicholas for payment of a like annuity to the said Nicholas and Hugh; (3) of a bond of 300l. given by the said Henry to the said Nicholas for payment to him of 200l. on May 6, 1589; (4) of a bond of 1,000l. given by the said Henry to the said Nicholas without condition specified; all on condition of the payment by the said Henry of 800l. to the said Nicholas by 2 February. 19 June, 31 Elizabeth.
