Chirograph indented, dated 8 July, 18 Edward IV, between Dame Elizabeth Yorke, widow; Thomas Wyndesore, esquire, William Yorke, gentleman, John Mathewe, citizen and mercer of London, and Robert Rypon, executors of the will of William Yorke, esquire, of the one part, and John Yorke, esquire, William's son and heir, of the other part, witnessing that out of 1,000l. bequeathed by William for the purchase of lands for John and the heirs of his body, with remainder to William, John's brother, the executors have paid 560 marks to Sir Richard Darell, knight, for the manor of Est Sutton, co. Kent, and the site of a mill called 'Okeley,' co. Sussex, and 40l. to John, to the intent that he shall 'espie and gete' the other lands. English. Seal.
