Chirograph indented being a defeasance of a grant of even date by William Watford, gentleman, to Lawrence Pycot, Henry Mauntell, and John Skynner, of a toft in Dunstaple, late of Fremund Inge, lying between West Street (vico del West) and Ikenyldstret, so long as they shall have quiet possession of a toft and croft in Dunstaple between the said streets and le Hallewyklane and of 2a. arable in 'les South Inlondes' of Dunstaple by the walls of the Friars Preachers. 1 March, 19 Henry VI.
