Draft of an indenture dated 8 October, 23 Henry VI, between Thomas, abbot of Redyng, of the one part, and William Yorke of the other part, witnessing that he had demised to the said William his manor of Esthenred for 21 years from Michaelmas next, to hold on the same terms that William Combe now holds it. He also grants to him all his pasture in the manor and 300 sheep, valued at 8d. each, at a rent of 3l. 13s. 4d, and five cartloads of hay, to be carried from Cholsey at his own cost.
