Description

Quitclaim by John York, son and heir of William York, esquire, to William Mille, chaplain of the chantry of the Holy Trinity at the altar of St Mary the Virgin in the church of Remesbury, called 'the Wotton and York chantry,' of his right in two messuages in Remesbury, in 'le freorcherd,' whereof one lies 'infra pilam de Remesbury,' abutting on the highway and the bank of the Kenet, between the tenement of Richard Darell, knight, etc, and the other is between a lane and a footpath which both lead to the church, and of his right in land, etc. in Puryton Stoke, Bentham, Lydyard, Brokynburgh, and Wotton Basset. 20 December, 16 Edward IV.
