Description

Chirograph indented being a demise by John Lyne to John atte Birches of Solihull and Amice his wife for their lives of all his lands in Solihull, viz. a messuage and 3 crofts by the highway from Shirleyestret to Warewyk, with power to demolish houses and fell trees; rent, 2s. 8d. to the chief lords of the fee and 2s. to him; and if his wife shall claim dower, they may deduct it from the rent; and if Maud the daughter of Richard de Buri shall recover any part of the land, they may deduct the value of it from the rent. Wednesday, the feast of St Luke, 3 Edward III.
