Description

Indenture of demise, 25 August, 2 Richard III, by Bartholomew Chaloner, son of Thomas Chaloner 'late deceased,' to 'Maister' John Gunthorp, clerk, keeper of the king's privy seal, of all the lands, etc in the parishes and lordships of Camerwell and Lambehith, 'as well holden by charter as by copie,' which were of the said Thomas; to hold from Christmas next for fourteen years; rent, 3l.; the said 'Maister John' has paid 22l. 'bifore handes'; lands called 'Cardenal- hides' 'holden by copy' are excepted, etc.
