Grant by Nicholas de Schipton of Wystaneston to Hugh Baudewyn of Buford and Joan his wife, for 40s. beforehand, of his meadow called 'le Gore' within the manor (liber' maner') of Mawerdin in 'Dolmedewe' abutting on the water of Lugge; to hold to them for her life, and to Hugh's heirs and assigns in fee and heredity; rent, ½d. at Michaelmas, for all service. Witnesses:— Sir Hugh de Frene, knight, Walter de Frene, and others (named).
