Description

Grant by Stephen de Cranesle, son of Walter de Wullaveston, to Alexander de Cranesle, son of Peter, for his homage and service of a toft in the town of Cranesle and of 1r. in the field of Cranesle on 'Wudewellehil'; to hold hereditarily rendering there- for 1d. at Easter, for all service; for this Alexander gave him 3½ marks. Witnesses:—Sir Simon de Trop, Roger Gulafre, Sir Ralph de Cranesle, parson, and others (named).
