Description

Grant by William Cotin of Madeley to William, his son, of all his land within the fee of Madeley to hold to him and the heirs between him and Cecily daughter of William de Poddemor begotten, with reversion in default to himself and his heirs; rent, a rose (rosam floridam) at Midsummer. Witnesses:—Sir William de Mere and Sir Robert de Dutton, knights, Richard de Vernay, Robert, lord of Oniley, Richard de Thickenes, William de Vernay, Ralph, lord of Wytemor, and others (named). Saturday in Easter week, 6 Edward II.
