Description

Grant by Philip de Eggerton to Robert Haydok, citizen of Chester, and Agnes his wife of a messuage in Forgatestret of the city of Chester, outside the gate called 'le Barrus,' between the lane called 'Payneslode,' etc, and extending to the land of the dean and canons of the collegiate church of St John of Chester; to hold to them and the heirs of their bodies; rent, 8s. Witnesses:—John de Bebynton, mayor of Chester, William de Heth and Richard Stalmyn, sheriffs, and others (named). The feast of St Gregory the Pope, 2 Henry IV.
