Indenture whereby Sampson de Strelley, knight, reciting that Hugh de Annesley holds the manors of Fryeston 'Bi the Water' and Ferebrigg for life by his demise, with all lands, reliefs, marriages,& c, with reversion thereof expectant to himself and his heirs, rendering therefore yearly 60s. at Martinmas and Whitsuntide; and reciting that Emma late the wife of Roger de Strelley holds for life divers lands in Strelley and Newthorp which were of the inheritance of William son of Thomas de Strelley, with reversion thereof expec- tant to himself and his heirs; grants the said rent and reversions to Thomas, his son, for life, to hold of him and his heirs, at the rent of a peppercorn for all service. Monday after the Annunciation, 12 Richard II.
