Grant by William, son and heir of Nicholas Baily, formerly called 'Olvesdissh,' to Hugh Donne of Budworthe in le Frith, esquire, of land in Budworthe in le Frithe, now mostly covered with water, adjoining a water-mill built by the said Hugh in Rissheton, which land is the mill-leat (attachiamentum fossati defensorii sive capitis stagni vocati 'a were') and descended to him from his ancestors as appears by a charter of Robert Daa, son of Warin le Grosvenour of Budworthe dated Sunday before the feast of St Peter in the Chair, 1328, at a yearly rent of 2s. 8d, etc. 19 June, 12 Henry VII. Endorsed: Olton myllne pole with certeyn land for the damme of the same.
