Grant by Denise, relict of John de Colesburne, widow, to John son of Walter the marshal of Maresfeld, for his life, of all the land with a messuage etc, which she had of the gift of John de Tauntune, her brother, in Penitune Meysi; for which grant the said Walter has given to the said John, his son, and John's heirs by the said Denise, all his land etc, in Marsefeld. Witnesses:- Walter Erkebaud and Alexander le Riche, bailiffs of andevere, William de Merse, parson of Wye, John de Mulebroc, parson of Penitune Meysi, and others (named): [Hants.] Dated: Monday before St. Edward, 48 Henry III.
