Description

Demise by Thomas, duke of Exeter, earl of Dorset and Harecurt, and admiral of England, Aquitaine, and Ireland, to William Haryngton, knight, Richard Walton and John Grissyngham, chaplains, of all his estate in the castle and manor of Horneby, co. Lancashire, and in the manors of Farneley and Hoton Longvilers, co. York, and Appelby, co. Lincoln, with all his estate in all other manors, lands, advowsons of churches, priories and chantries etc, in the said counties lately belonging to Robert Nevile of Horneby, knight; paying 280l. yearly to the grantor, during his life, in St. Paul's Cathedral, London, at the altar by the shrine of St. Erkenwald. Witnesses:- Richard Redemane, John de Langton, Richard Stanhope, and Robert de Haryngton, knights, and others (named): Lanc. York. Linc. Dated: 29 (penultimo die) April, 2 Henry VI.
