Surrender and release by John West of Dunstaple, cordwainer, and Alice his wife, to Thomas, prior of the canons of Dunstaple and the convent of the same, of all their right to a small house in Dunstaple, in the west street, which was formerly a brueria, and which William Tonnok and Joan, his wife feld, concerning which there had been disputes between the said parties; and demise by the said prior and canons, to the said John and Alice for their lives, paying 6s. 8d. yearly, of the said house and a shop adjacent, abutting on Ykenildestrate, with a small shop by 'le Ballysete': [Bedf.]
