Description

Defeasance of a bond by John Chirche and William Cantelowe, citizens and mercers of London, to Richard Yerdeburgh, Robert Kyngesson, citizen and vintner of London, and Thomas Blankpeyn, for 502l. 20d.; witnessing that the said bond is to be void if Thomas Ruffaldus, of Brugges, shall pay to Robert, Lord Wylughby, at Cologne, on or after the feast of St Margaret next coming, 3,809½ Rhenish guilders (rinyssh gildens). 23 December, 1439, 18 Henry VI. [Middlesex]
