Agreement between Richard son of Geoffrey de Chippyn, and Gilbert son of Paulinus de Wedacre and Godythe his wife, compromising a suit between them brought before Sirs Walter de Elyun, John de Hocton, Peter de Chester, and William de Northburge, justices in Eyre at Lancaster, concerning a messuage and land at Inscyp and the twelfth part of a mill there: the parties execute mutual conveyances of moieties of the premises, and give mutual rights of pre-emption in case of sale by either party. Gilbert and his wife also grant to the said Richard all their right in Katreale. Witnesses:—Sirs Richard le Botiller, Henry de Le, Adam de Hocton, and others (named). 56 Henry III. [Lancashire]
