Grant by John Broke, knight, Lord Cobham, Nicholas Lathell, gentleman, Clerk of the Pipe of the King's Exchequer, Richard Martyn, John Wybarne, the elder, and Roger Shelley, esquires, John Beauley, gentleman and Richard Godfrey, in pursuance of the will of Richard Forde, deceased, late Remembrancer of the King's Exchequer, and at the request of Anthony Forde, son of the said Richard, to the said Anthony Forde and Joan his wife, daughter of the late John Martyn, of Graveney, esquire, and the heirs of the body of the said Anthony, of the manor called 'Saynymary hall,' in the parish of St. Mary's Hoo; and other lands, salt marshes, etc, in the same parish. appointment of John Pratte, yeoman, and bailiff of the hundred of Hoo, and Richard Neweton, attorneys to deliver seisin.
