Grant by Urian Eggerton, parson of the church of Haselwall, James Bolton, late vicar of the church of Audeley, Richard Weston, vicar of the church of Madeley, and John Yonge, to Hugh Eggerton, esquire , and Margaret his wife, and the heirs male of the body of the said Hugh, of the manor of Chetulton, with lands, etc, belonging thereto, together with messuages, lands, etc, in Rownall Foorde and Uncote, and a messuage, etc, in Ipstones, and a room with a buttery and pantry annexed, which the said Hugh ha newly built between the hall and kitchen of his house with the demesne of Madeley; also of the manor of Smalwode, with 'Lucas Haywode,' which the grantors held together with William More, parson of the church of Mocleston, and Richard Walker, vicar of the church of Webnury (Wybunbury). Appointment of Thomas Smyth, of Betley, attorney to deliver seisin. Witnesses:- John Maynwaryng and Robert Fulleshurst, knights and others (named): Staff. Chesh.
