Short title: Lawrence v Popham. Documents exhibited in court:

  • Lease and assignment of Edward Popham of Littlecott, Wilts, John Chetwood of Wellington, Som, to Edmund Saunders, John Brickdale and Corsley Rogers, all of Bristol, of a house called Wellington Park and the manor of Wellington Landside, Som (1738-1739).
  • Defeasance, covenant, assignment and receipt of Edward Popham (1750-1755).
  • Agreement between Edward Popham, Charles Lawrence and Edmund Sauxay of the Strand, Middx, and Frank Nicholls of Lincoln's Inn Fields, Middx, relating to the manors of Wellington Landside cum Turston or Turdaston, Som, and Rawridge, Clayhidon, and Churchstanton, Devon (1753).
