This series consists of files containing memoranda and reports submitted to meetings of the Standing Committee of the Trustees of the British Museum and its Sub- committee on Zoology and Entomology, as well as to their successor, the Trustees of the British Museum (Natural History). Papers on the files deal with personnel matters; donations, exchanges and purchases for the collections; collecting expeditions and attendance at conferences; research and publication.
