This series consists of visitors books of the British Museum (Natural History) Department of Mineralogy.
The volumes making up this series contain the names of visitors to the Department of Mineralogy and its library. Pieces 1-11 covering 1876-1959 were filled in by the clerk, while pieces 13-16 covering 1959-1993 contain visitors signatures. A single volume was in use for the years 1876-1900, but thereafter two or more volumes were in use in different areas of the Department.
