Custodial history (Describes where and how the record has been held from creation to transfer to The National Archives)
- The invoices for specimens (pieces 1-13) were kept in the Mineralogy Section, where the post 1939 invoices are still held. The preparation invoices, relating to goods and services apart from specimens and books, were kept by the departmental clerk and probably housed in the Keeper's office.
