- Humphrey de Bohun, Earl of Hereford and Essex to William son of Ralph de Merk: Grant, indented, for life, of a messuage and land in High Easter and a rent from the manor of White Roding, in recompense for a grant of two-thirds of the manor of White Roding (Rothing Marcy), with the reversion of the other third held in dower by Joan late the wife of Ralph de Merk, mother of the said William, and of the land which John de la Lee holds for life in East Leigh, and his land, etc. in Berners Roding and Margaret Roding: Essex.
