Description

This series contains outport records from Stockton. Comprising orders etc of the Board of Customs to the collector, 1675 to 1898. Letter books, collector to board, 1736 to 1906, general, 1834 to 1896, and Board of Trade, 1916 to 1925. Miscellaneous records relating to staff and shipping 1739 to 1881 including minutes of Trustees of Disabled Seamen's Fund, 1748 to 1834, and wreck depositions, 1860 to 1881. Trade Statements, 1851 to 1942, are also included.
